The Reichert AR6 Series Automatic Refractometers offer superior accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use in measuring Refractive Index, Brix, and percent concentration for virtually any product. They are ideally suited for quality assurance and research applications.
Two Models Available:

AR600 with Precision to 0.01 Brix or 0.00001 Refractive Index AR60 with Precision to 0.1 Brix or 0.0001 Refractive Index
Both units offer automatic temperature compensation.

The Reichert AR6 Series Automatic Refractometers set the standard for automated, precise, traceable Refractive Index, Brix, and Concentration measurements. These instruments use precision optics and superior image analysis to extend the repeatability and accuracy of measurement. There is no need for manual activities such as aligning shadowlines, watching for temperature stability, or reading analog scales. The Reichert AR6 Series Automatic Refractometers are ideal for a wide variety of industries including food and beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and chemical. It is used for checking fruit ripeness, solids level, quality standards, raw material and solvent purity, concentration/mix ratios, and many other applications. The patented 2600 cell linear scanned diode array shadowline sensor is sensitive enough to read even the most demanding samples such as inks or dark grape juice concentrates. The large graphical LCD display is easy to read and provides complete sample documentation.

No more shadowline to interpret and no more countdown timers to monitor. Just apply the sample and press READ, the instrument monitors the sample to ensure stability, then takes a fully automatic reading. Can read all sample types, including transparent, translucent, and opaque liquids. Sapphire Prism and Stainless Steel Sample Well - Reduced maintenance costs. The sample measurement surface and sample well are virtually indestructible. 1.33000 to 1.52000 Refractive Index Range (Full Brix Range per ICUMSA) - Covers the entire Brix reading range per ICUMSA. Custom Scale Capability (Storage of up to 14 Unique Scales) - Users can program these units with correlation formulas converting refractive index and temperature into product concentration. Hundreds of scales are available, or users can create their own for their unique products. Readability and measurement unit names are user definable as well. Five Button Operation with Graphic Display and Simple, User Friendly Software - Extreme simplicity of use for anyone from swing shift production line operators to laboratory technicians and research scientists, while offering flexibility in supervisor controlled sample analysis protocols. Universal AC Power Transformer - Operates from any power source from 100 to 220 Volts and 50/60 Hz.
