The MOC63u incorporates a one-piece aluminum alloy mass sensor technology (UniBloc), first introduced by Shimadzu for precision Balances in 1986. The Unibloc replaces 70 parts found in a conventional electromagnetic balance sensor and ensures stable temperature characteristics, excellent response time and stable corner-load performance. The Unibloc design permits a consistency of production that assures reliability and a long operational life.

Excellent performance for a wide variety of applications in multiple industries:

Food: Environmental: Chemical: Pharmaceutical:
  • Quality Assurance
  • Harvest Inspection
  • Polluted Sludge Measurement
  • Bio fuel Measurement
  • Paint Quality Control
  • Material Inspection
  • Drug Quality Assurance
  • Cosmetics Inspection

Features:

Easy-start mode

The MOC 63u automatically starts measurement immediately after you close the lid of the balance.

Large pan size

The 95mm diameter adapts to various materials of all shapes and sizes.

Built-in USB port
USB functionality is included with your balance, however, you need to install the USB driver. RS-232C (9 pin connector) is also available on this model.
Halogen heater

A long life halogen heater promises you quick and accurate measurement. Temperature can be changed from 50 to 200°C (1°C increments).

Easy operation using a simple keypad

The easy to operate software and keypad layout combine with our automatic starting mode to help save time measuring samples. Internal memory in the MOC 63u can save 10 measurement conditions and 100 results.

Multiple alternate drying modes

  • Rapid drying mode
First dries with the highest temperature for the specified period, then shifts to the specified temperature shortening measurement time.

  • Slow drying mode
Gently heats samples that might solidify at the surface or samples that reduce under high temperature.

  • Step drying mode
Allows step-by-step changes in drying conditions. This feature is useful when measuring samples that contain a large amount of water.
UniBloc Aluminum Alloy Mass Sensor

Replacing the conventional electromagnetic balance sensor assembly, UniBloc's compact, uniform structure ensures stable temperature characteristics, excellent response time and table corner-load performance.

Windows Direct
Easily integrate weighing results with laboratory software without a special application. *RS-232C or USB cable is needed.
