Return Policy |

All returns must be authorized by Spectra Services in order to insure proper credit and must be requested within 30 days of purchase. NOTE: All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge. For returns not due to Spectra Services error, customer is responsible for all transportation fees related to the returned product. To ensure proper credit, each Product return must include the following information: |
- Customer Name and Address
- Purchase Order Number
- Spectra Services Shipping Order Number
- Date of Invoice
- Item Number of Returned Item(s)
- Spectra Services Return Authorization Number
- Reason for Return

Products not authorized for return include: |
- Products not in completely resalable condition (including Products with damaged, missing or defaced labelling or packaging)
- Chemicals, reagents, diagnostics, sterile or any controlled products (unless products do not meet specification)
- Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labelling and operating manuals.
- Refrigerated products or other perishables
- Products which are not inventoried by Spectra Services and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer
- Products purchased on a Special Order Basis
- Products not purchased from Spectra Services
- Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
- Discontinued products

Used Microscopes and Parts: |
- The customer has one week from the date of delivery to make sure these products meet their expectations. If during the one week period the customer decides to return the microscope or parts, there is no restocking fee but the customer is responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product back to Spectra Services. Full credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned product to ensure all equipment was returned in the same condition as it was shipped out.
All exchanges and returns require the completion of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Once completed, please return the merchandise immediately as the RMA number is only active for 10 days from the date of submission. IMPORTANT: We highly recommend insuring goods for their full value and safely wrapping items to prevent shipping damage. Charges associated with returning items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived defective, incorrect or broken. For orders damaged in transit, please contact us. |

Order Cancellation Policy
Spectra Services is dedicated to providing top notch customer service to all of our customers. We pride ourselves on our ability to quickly and accurately process all orders. If you have any questions regarding your purchase, we will do everything we can to address your concerns. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. As a vast majority of in-stock items ship within 24 hours, it is imperative that you contact us so we may attempt to cancel your order before it is processed and/or shipped. International Orders
Spectra Services ships to most destinations worldwide. For all customers with either an international billing or shipping address in their order, please read the following and contact us via phone or email should you have any questions. We require Bank Wire in advance for all international orders, contact us via phone or email should you have any questions. |

International Shipping
Spectra Services ships internationally to all countries where UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL services are available. If you have an existing account with one of these shipping companies, we will be happy to use your existing account. Please contact us via phone or email should you have any questions.
Please make sure to check your local laws, rules and regulations in regards to all custom/brokerage fees, duties, taxes and restrictions imposed on goods imported into the country of destination as all fees mentioned above are the responsibility of the recipient and not Spectra Services. All costs incurred on a refused delivery because of high custom or brokerage fees, duties, taxes or restrictions imposed by the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that some products are prohibited from shipping internationally and/or may require additional authorization from the U.S. Government or our suppliers. Sometimes, this is due to contractual restrictions by our manufacturing partners. In other cases, restrictions are imposed by the U.S. Government. We will notify you if there are any restrictions which prevent your order from shipping. |
