The r2i300—with a footprint size of a sheet of paper (12” x 8.75”)—has all the speed and power of much larger automatic benchtop refractometers. Engineered with our new sapphire prism (4x harder than glass), the r2i300 is benchtop tested to be tough, durable, and more resistant to surface damage from demanding applications.

Greater Accuracy!
The r2i300’s new sapphire prism delivers 2.5x more conductivity to temperature than a conventional glass prism, providing greater accuracy of the Automatic Temperature Correction (ATC) calculation. The result? A more precise measurement every time!

Versatility!
The r2i300 has wide Brix and Refractive Index (RI) reading ranges for a variety of applications. It measures dark-colored and opaque samples and meets the testing requirements of many applications, including those in the food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, and petroleum industries.
